Romeo: From the Balcony

Today was the most remarkable day of my life. The love of my life shined before my eyes and it was not the one who hides behinds her armor of Chastity. But alas, she is the daughter of my family's sworn family. The one true love of my life is a Capulet! Oh how I regret this unfortunate misgiving. Is there no good in this world? But despite this dreadful circumstance, we have vowed to leave our names behind and marry. I cannot wait for her messenger to arrive tomorrow to bring me long anticipated news of joy. I do not believe that I could have done or said better that lead me up to this point. I hope my words of dedication and love have captured her heart and I hope with all my heart that the messenger will be swift and bring me my message.

  1. This is fabulous Romeo! You can be back to your normal self and leave behind your wasted efforts for Roseline. If you love Juliet, leave your names behind and be free like me - without constraints due to family grudges. I wish you the best of luck with Juliet.

  2. My dear cousin, I understand your feelings but Juliet is a Capulet. I do not have to explain to you that Montague and Capulet are like fire and ice. The entire city knows that. You have to try to understand that your feelings for Juliet, someone you barely know, is most likely not love. You are just trying to replace the gap left by Roseline. There are plenty of women in the world, leave Juliet and search for your true love
